heyyy guess who's finally here

Hey guys, it's AJ, bringing you Captain James T. Kirk of the Starship Enterprise. I'm sure you're all at least passingly familiar with his character, but feel free to check out his app if you need more info on personality or history. He's coming from almost the end of the original series- the second to last episode.
A quick note about his new powers! Kirk will be able to convince someone of anything as long as he believes he's not lying. So...he could reason Lucifer down from killing a random person by arguing that every life is worth something, but he couldn't convince Lucifer into thinking he's a giant duck. Power level isn't gonna change how quickly the effects wear off. If your character can think through their reasoning logically they'll be able to get out of it faster.
His intro should happen in a few days :)

I am really looking forward to seeing his rift power in action. XD

And that vid is beautiful, and all of this is increasing my desire to actually sit down and watch TOS.
Also man I was reading through the backstory, and I was like, "Ah yes, AJ chose the Colonist backstory." and then I remembered this is not Mass Effect, and they actually borrowed that from Star Trek.
Also demiace yes make all the characters ace (or bi/pan), always. *did the same with Jess*

and lol trufax: everything ever is borrowed from Star Trek. This silly show is the genesis of so many fuckin tropes
(demi kirk is just such a more interesting possibility to portray)

Beyond that tho, I generally prefer to watch all or most eps of a show. If some eps are utter trash or highly questionable, you could warn me of those? So I could skip or at least be prepared for it.
OR I could just google some lists and IMDb ratings and such, either works. x) Just saying if you wanna share some ep opinions, feel free.
And yee, it can be so fun to watch trope-creators. Like, if you compare it to modern media, it can often seem predictable, but when you remember they're the ones who originated it, it's super cool. Not just as a fun show, but as a piece of pop culture history.
(In my experience, ace-umbrella characters are *always* more interesting. At least for me personally.)
