It's Carrie again, bringing you more of the very best in teenage female protagonists from YA fantasy books you haven't read! Say hello to Jennifer Strange, from Jasper Fforde's "The Last Dragonslayer."
She'll be arriving in NYC shortly with a faithful Quarkbeast by her side. More details can be found in her application. It probably goes without saying that the 'History' section is spoiler-tastic, but there's plenty of Quarkbeast goodness in the writing sample.
I'm also waffling a bit on who should find her. I'm leaning towards someone from Romac or someone unaffiliated with either faction. Thoughts? Volunteers?
