Exit, Pursued by a Fungus Zombie Child
Carrie here, with some good news and bad news.
The bad news: I'm dropping Jennifer Strange and Jodie Holmes. I love them both, but I was having trouble finding things for Jennifer to do, and Jodie is sufficiently difficult that she was starting to feel like a chore. Let's just say the rift takes them both home and they live happily ever after. Good for them!
The good news: I'm introducing the game's first legit tiny babby. Melanie is a very unique child from a dystopian zombie novel called "The Girl With All the Gifts" by M.R. Carey. Since she's so obscure, I highly recommend reading her application. But the main rundown: she's a sort of zombie/human hybrid with a genius level IQ and an extremely sheltered upbringing, and she really really doesn't want to tear your throat out and feast on your entrails, so kindly refrain from tempting her too much. Sometimes humans are hard to resist.
She's not going to have a traditional intro post (though the writing sample in her app gives you an idea of what her arrival in Manhattan was like). She's actually in a high-security ROMAC cell by her own explicit (and emphatic) request. But come on, she can't stay there forever. PRISON BREAK.
Anyway, her permissions post is here, and I'm looking forward toforcing her to interact with introducing her to everyone! She's such a cutie, it's gonna be great.
