Greetings Manhattanites! Your mods have announcements of great portent!
1. In an effort to make it easier for players to be involved in suggesting and planning in-game events, we have updated the calendar page to include information on upcoming events and provide a place for players to suggest and discuss events of your own. We encourage everyone to track that post's comments so you can see what other players are putting forward. Remember that Dreaming events are also an option, and that impromptu 'open to multiple' posts are welcome whether or not they're part of an event.
2. Your mods are in the early planning stages of an effort to create a stronger overarching plot, which will give the game more direction and provide the characters with something to investigate and/or fight against (literally or figuratively). More on that as it develops.
3. A new dressing room community has arisen on DreamWidth:dear_player. Anyone familiar with dear_mun will recognize the format; this is pretty much the same thing except the mods are actually active. This means that we were able to get a tag for our game; if you want to go hunting for castmates or just goof off, posting to that comm using the 'game: big applesauce' tag will help us gain much-needed exposure. Handrew has already lodged a complaint.
4. The last weekend of this month falls immediately after Christmas. We have the option of either doing the dream party on schedule, which would have it going up December 27 or 28, or putting it off until the first weekend of January to work around players' holiday schedules. Please let us know which you would prefer.

As far as the dream party schedule goes, I'm easy. I'll probably be hanging out at the apartment both of those weekends, since I work on the Friday after Christmas.
And I am going to be all over that dear_player comm. Or rather, Sunshine probably is, because she has a lot to complain about.

And yeah, there are no big travel plans in my life for Christmas, so whenever you want to put up the party is fine with me.
(and I'll definitely have one of my guys go complain at dear_player. They're pretty good at complaining XD)
