Partly mod post
Ok so this is partly a post to say that I'm going out to a friend's cabin for a week, so I'll only be sporadically online. I'll try to tag every now and then, but I won't actually be online at the same time as most of you, since, yanno, time zones, but whatever.
I keep AIM logged on at my home computer even when I'm not there (cause I'm an obsessive chat logger), and I'm not 100% if my phone updates with what people have said while I'm offline. So if you poke me and I haven't answered in a day, chances are I won't see it till I get home? The safest bet for reaching me is email or dreamwidth message. *thumbs up*
AND NOW, a sort of modly note.
I discovered that we've been inconsistent with dream party dating lately. Historically the dating has been that the date means at the very end of that day. (I.e. a dream party dated 22nd takes place on the night between 22-23.) However a few times lately, including the most recent party (I believe) it's been at the beginning of the day.
Soooo, those should get their dates changed so that it fits with the "end of the day" rule. However, their placement in the timeline shouldn't change.
The latest parties, according to threadlist:
May 20 party - end of day
June 9 party - beginning of day (needs to be changed so its date is end of 8th)
June 21 party - beginning of day (needs to be changed so its date is end of 20th)
July 3 party - end of day
July 5 party - beginning of day (needs to be changed so its date is end of 4th)
In the future, dream dating in general should be the date of the day that has just finished (primarily because that's what's mostly been used so far).
With all this mind, PLEASE PLEASE let us know if this suddenly makes continuity stuff crash, if there are dates that need to be changed, and in general if you notice stuff wrong with the threadlist (or, yanno, anywhere else). I haven't checked for the June parties whether this suddenly makes certain posts come in the wrong order.
(And I haven't had the chance to talk about this with Carrie or threadlist-keeper Ellis cause yeah I'm going to cabin and won't be around, so here guys, feel free to argue with me if I'm saying dumb stuff.)
