At this point Rush will not be the most pleasant person to be around - I mean, ridiculously, even MORE so than usual - so he'll be very focused, very nonresponsive, and very much "how can I use you to achieve my ends right now". But him roping Topher in might be a good window to get him involved in a more substantial sense.
