Oooh I actually saw his first two trickster episodes... at some point, ages ago. Did they just change their mind to make him Gabriel or was that always the point? XD

Also dang I love what they do with the angel wings.

I think that he was a convenient character to reveal as Gabriel (and he was a fan favorite, so it made sense to bring him back in a new capacity). I don't know if they planned it that way all along, but my guess is no. XD
