SO. the escape thing
Just wanna put this up so that we can hash out as a group what is happening with this plot to get Charley and Eight out of ROMAC.
My understanding of the situation: Johnny and Gabe could both easily get in, though Gabe has pretty strong reservations about heading in half-cocked. The TARDIS wants to go in just for the Doc. Johnny wants to save Charley first and the Doc second, though both of those preferences don't really matter because they're in the same cell.
My personal plot solution to this would be: Gabe goes to stop both Johnny and the TARDIS from going in without a plan. Johnny gives him the slip, but the TARDIS doesn't. While Gabe is freaking out about ROMAC and preventing the TARDIS from going in, Johnny rescues Charley and the Doc. (I understand some ppl had different ideas, but idk what those are exactly? Please share.)
If the whole thing gets threaded, that plot would prevent more than three people threading at any one time. But do we want to thread the whole thing? Maybe it could be split up, some of it agreed on, that sort of thing. It's just a lot of stuff to get through, and i can see it holding stuff up if it takes too long.

It might even be simpler if Johnny just goes straight there and does it while, say, Gabe and the TARDIS are still trying to hash things out via text, as is... sort of already happening?
Alternatively if we just sort of... agree that things happened and moved forward from it, that seems like it would work equally well. But it depends on what other folks want to do... since Johnny is at best an accessory to the plotline.

Though you're right that it might be difficult to thread and would end up in a four person thread, hmm. I figured Gabriel would go to stop Johnny first since he's more fragile than the TARDIS, but that still leaves Charley and the Doctor.
So if everyone would rather be done with it and move on, that would be fine with me too.
For the Doctor's amnesia, the TARDIS' presence could be enough to fix it. It worked that way in Orbis....
