So I think all of us need a little self-esteem boost and motivation once in a while, and I've been wanting to do this for ages.


Step 1: Tag in with a list of you you play as. (And previous characters too if you want.)

Step 2: Also include one thing you like about yourself, because self-love is important and I greatly encourage it.

Step 3: Reply to other people with stuff you love about them.

This could be anything, personal or purely RP related. Maybe you really love how someone plays a character, or think they have great idea for plots, or had a really good time with a thread with them, or just think they're a really cool person. Say so!

I'm Kristine and I play as Seth.

In the past I have played as Tenth Doctor, Eighth Doctor, James Wood, Lucy Saxon, Topher Brink, and (extremely briefly) Tara Maclay.

I think I'm pretty good at characterisation and picking apart characters (or at least I love doing it). And then torturing them.

Right now I've got Peter Vincent here, Rashad Durant, Yuri Kostoglodov, and Asmodia Antarion. I've previously played Andrew Noble and Luke Smith, and in dream parties I've been quite a few people, including Norman Bates and The Pan.

I think I'm pretty good at writing characters who do bad things for internally consistent reasons.

I play Daine, Sunshine, Melanie, and Greta here. Previously, I've also played Jennifer Strange and Jodie Holmes/Aiden. And there's a bunch of randos that I occasionally throw into the dream parties, Sadie Doyle being the most frequent crasher.

I think I'm good at bringing in the ladies writing the necessary culture shock experienced by characters from vastly different time periods or social situations.

Hi I play way too many people Johnny Bee Aziraphale Iman Jay and I have played Gus, Jane Eyre (lol remember that nobody remembers that) and, also briefly, Castor. I also have played a handful of dream party invaders because I generally have a sickness.

I try to be super duper flexible with my characters and my threading to help keep things rolling and I feel like I have done all right with that.

I'm gonna express my love for other folks in the general sense first. I love everyone in this bar! It is a good little gang of folks. I think this is a good safe space and very valuable to me for that reason.

Also! This is a really sweet idea and I dig it. But if anyone finds this practice anxiety inducing or has trouble speaking well of themselves, I'll self-love for you. You're all super good writers and good at what you do, at whatever speed and however quietly you do it! Even if you don't speak up here know that I love you cause you're all cool! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ

Can I just say I really enjoy Johnny and Seth so much! Seth is such a good foil for him, I like how much they have in common and how much they can kinda learn from each other, and it's really REAL to me, how Johnny is super fucked up but as soon as he sees his friend behaving in a similarly fucked up way he's like HANG ON A DAMN MINUTE because ain't we all like that. And Seth does the same for Johnny!

I'm really glad Johnny has him for a friend! That was a totally delightful organic development and it was fun as heck. :)

As torturous as it is I love how Greta is developing through it and getting such a better hand than in her canon. And I do really enjoy making Iman's life difficult so whatever. I mean I've been playing with you for idek - actually I just went and checked and our first thread was 5 and a half years ago so wow - so it should be no secret that I love playing with you, but I'm gonna say it anyway: I really really love playing with you.

Like I still have fond memories of the Nerd Patrol taking on a vampire with a lamp, or hunting down a feral Topher, or god, like any of adventures over a brbG. Particularly with James and Andrew of course. Like, that was one hell of a journey, and I love how well they played off each other, and helped each other grow as people, and how ridiculously adorable they are. Like the main reason I couldn't play James anymore was I just couldn't bear to make them unhappy anymore because they're just so dang cute and I want them to be happy. And then more recently, the adventures with Peter and Lucy hit me especially hard, like gosh that was fun to play out.

And I very sadly haven't gotten to thread much with you recently, which WE NEED TO FIX. Like I especially want to do something with Rashad, cause he's so neat??? Like just such a cool character concept and wonderfully carried out.

Also you are just like... the nicest. What the hell. Like just ridiculously accommodating and patient and awesome. And even when we don't RP together, I love having you as a friend and hearing what you're up to and sharing stuff with you. ♥

And they're SO COOL, too? Even if I haven't even threaded that much with you, there's been a lot of threads I've really enjoyed stalking, and watching shit develop between characters. Thirding the I LOVE EVERYONE IN THIS BAR, which is why I wanted to do this thing because it's important for people to not just know, but to hear it.

And like, this is a particularly good example about one of my fav things about you? You really really try to look out for everyone, like you're just invested in people having a good time and feeling safe, and that is so so so so important. So thank you for that. ♥

And I mean it doesn't hurt that you're also an amazing RPer, yanno.

Like I absolutely second everything you said about Seth and Johnny, and I just rly enjoy how they're just low-key friends who have each other's backs and it's really wonderful. And related, I've really enjoyed watching Johnny's development with other characters too, like especially Gabe obviously, but I find I've stalked quite a few Johnny threads in my life. You do so much cool internal dialogue shit? Just like... depicting his messed-up-ness, and his mental connections, it's always really easy to follow his line of thought, and that's really cool.

And your characters are so cool and varied? Like I mean Johnny vs Bee vs Iman vs Aziraphale, it's a pretty wild bunch, and you play all of them so well? It's a mystery to me how you do it. Like I could spout love about all of them for a while probably. Iman is particularly hilarious.

I also concur, you are really good with keeping the threading alive, which makes it really easy and fun to play with you, and also really just makes for threads that are a lot of fun to read. So just. Thank you for existing.

It definitely started out deliberate - I was like 'look at all these dudes, I should pick a girl' - but since then it's just become the automatic default for me. XD I try to think of guys I might like to RP and it's just like '. . .'

YES LET US THREAD MORE. Greta needs to add more people to her clutch of trashbabies. Though Seth might intimidate her a little since he is clearly an adult who could ostensibly take care of himself and not a sad skinny little thing like the others she's collected.
