Hi everybody... newbie here, and new to RP in general, oh boy! Hooked and reeled in by Carrie, joining her in playing characters from Very Obscure Novels. Aw yeah. Super excited, and super nervous!
So Johnny is the furthest external narrator (not counting the actual author) of Mark Z. Danielewski's postmodern masterpiece House of Leaves (the blue is indeed part of the title... and it's also part of the book that every single occurrance of the word look the same. I'm going to hold myself to hexing it every time. WOO!!!!) ... I can't possibly explain the book to those who aren't familiar with it, but I did my best to explain his whole Deal on my application (NOTE: content warning for mild references to self-harm in the Appearance section).
Johnny is a PIECE OF WORK boy howdy let me tell you. He's got all the emotional issues of the dysfunctional rainbow and he has a serious fear of houses. Particularly mutable houses. Which is unfortunate, because his newfound power is directly connected to houses, and reshaping them. Whoops.
His intro post will be going up shortly. He'll be in Central Park joined by a Hooded Figure (not entirely unlike one of Night Vale's) and some questionable complacence.
