So I think all of us need a little self-esteem boost and motivation once in a while, and I've been wanting to do this for ages.


Step 1: Tag in with a list of you you play as. (And previous characters too if you want.)

Step 2: Also include one thing you like about yourself, because self-love is important and I greatly encourage it.

Step 3: Reply to other people with stuff you love about them.

This could be anything, personal or purely RP related. Maybe you really love how someone plays a character, or think they have great idea for plots, or had a really good time with a thread with them, or just think they're a really cool person. Say so!

OKAY WELL LET ME JUST SAY i love the Balladeer. So much. He's so friendly and sincere and while I certainly didn't know much about Assassins when you first joined I mayyyy have gone ahead and watched a recording of the entire dang musical just cause I love the way you play the Balladeer so much

You're a lot of fun to tag and I love how much I've enjoyed all of our threads. GIVE YOURSELF CREDIT FRIEND I think you're pretty swell

I'm really loving the thing between him and Daniel. It's nice to see them bonding over the weirdness that is their lives. xD And yeah, he can run into Tim, but Tim for the love of god try to keep that Slender stuff to yourself. Johnny Truant is bad enough, honestly.

...seriously, don't get him started on Johnnies. He can COMPLAIN ALL DAY he's been saving it up for a while

Tim is TRYING TO KEEP THE SLENDER STUFF TO HIMSELF really he is it's just so HARD when you've got a masked alter ego running around all the time!

Probably nothing at all like actual Tim. Which would be really unnerving for him if he came to the realization that they were the same person almost.

Also yeah I bet he'd freak him out on many more levels than just "there is a violent person in a creepy mask charging at me in a way that isn't quite normal human movement". xD

So I'm really impressed at the fact that you took a character like the Balladeer and made him playable in a game, because it's hard enough taking characters out of esoteric settings without making them that esoteric. It's hard to translate fourth wall abilities into something that's fun to play with in dwrp and doesn't break the game, but hoo boy you have done it. I feel like you broadened our scope by bringing him in, and I really enjoy reading your threads even if I feel like I don't actually thread with you all that often in this game.

I am so glad you crashed my d_p post back in the day and let me wheedle you into joining BA, because I love the Balladeer and our little Sondheimster pile so much. You're such a fantastic writer; I love the wry humor that infuses all of your tags. And the Balladeer is indeed such a weirdo, the fact that you play him so well and that he works is a testament to your mad RP skills. This game would be a darker place without you and your beagle.

I LOVE THE BALLADEER. I've stalked quite a few of his threads, he is lovely and adorable.

I've been meaning to poke you actually cause like I rly enjoyed threading with him but given the fact Seth was a FUCKING CAT, it was kinda tricky to do much with it. But Seth liked him so I'd like to see them interact slightly more person-shaped and able to have an actual conversation. And/or get into horrible trouble, that's always fun too.

I have been watching the Balladeer from afar and I am steadily ADORING HIM MORE AND MORE. He is so precious and does have a fascinating air of meta-ness about him, and his power is a very cool thing! I would looove for him to meet one of my characters. Honestly I can't even imagine how it would go with the TARDIS, and if he met Callie they would be precious cinnamon rolls together.

I LOVE THE BALLADEER AND IANTO HAS A CRUSH ON HIM AND I WANT TO DO SOMETHING WITH THAT but seriously I really really love your characterization of the Balladeer. When he popped up I was so curious to see how he would adapt to a completely different medium and genre. I've played some characters from musicals in the past and I've never quite been successful at it. Something about them just didn't translate right. But you're nailing it. The Balladeer works really well here. I love it.

Also YEAH I've never played a character from a musical before, so it's been pretty interesting? Normally I rely a lot on being able to hear their voice for...I don't know, character review or whatever, but I haven't really been able to do that here because it's all singing and that isn't at all the same thing. I'm happy to hear that I've been doing well though!
