Since things have gone a bit quiet, this seems like a good time to regroup and talk about what our assorted characters have been up to, lately. Or what we'd like them to get up to. Or how cute our new chunkhead cat is.

In all seriousness I was like 'oh man what if they had a jam session sometime' and then I remembered Tim would probably be really painful for the Balladeer to listen to huh

Yeah he'd probably put him pretty hard on edge. He's come around to feeling a little bad about how he handled the Johnny situation though, so he might still try to....you know, actually figure out if Tim's a terrible person or not before writing him off forever. He talked a tiny bit to Jay and nothing bad's happened yet.

Masky would totally make him flip his shit though. LIKE YOU JUST TURNED INTO A TOTALLY DIFFERENT PERSON DON'T DO THAT???

I'm really debating which one would be best for him to meet first, honestly. The Masked Man is always gonna be tumultuous as fuuuuuck but Tim's just his own little can of horrible sad worms with uniquely fucked-up heads

Also I've been loving how he feels the need to be a little shit every time Masky makes some weird cryptic pan-network text.

BUT YEAH either one of them would def freak him out. Tim's the only one who would really receive the courtesy of an attempt at normal human interaction though. f u mask man ur sound is like super fucked up

I mean that is pretty reasonable the masked man is not known for their diplomacy skills.

Maskman is gonna be getting some interesting Plot stuff happening to them soon in terms of how their relationship with Tim is gonna change but it'll be a slow, slow change so really they're available to be a little shit whenever. Maskman is set to abduct Johnny shortly before his nightmare house dream so they can kick that off but they'll probably be free to facilitate the wrecking of other people's shit because they have no limits

Tim's life is actually pretty okay right now for ONCE so I'm very open to injecting a little chaos into it

Well, would Tim show up if somebody started offering music lessons? He'd probably give them free to other rifties he's bad at money. Besides, if Tim showed up as a person who'd been invited the Balladeer could probably stomach his creepy Slendervibes a bit longer. Politeness, y'know

I think that's entirely plausible, actually. He's finally entering a stable place where he can be like 'yes, I can set foot outside of my apartment without inflicting the Operator upon everyone who knows me'. He DOES have an interest in music since that was the only thing he ever really got the chance to enjoy before his life went back into the gutter, but he's also probably mostly self-taught and therefore doesn't actually know how to read music and shit and would probably like to learn that actual stuff
