Howdy howdy howdy! Carrie here. You can tell by the pretty flower icon at the top of this post and the shoehorned-in Emily Blunt gif at the bottom of it.

Since things have gone a bit quiet, this seems like a good time to regroup and talk about what our assorted characters have been up to, lately. Or what we'd like them to get up to. Or how cute our new chunkhead cat is.

Let's play catch-up and/or do some brainstorming! Come on down.

Ok well the TARDIS's life has been same old, same old. She suffered the horrible illness and has been having pleasant (and unpleasant) conversations in the most recent dream party. At the moment I'm just interested in her meeting new people (certainly GLaDOS and Wheatley) and seeing what happens, as well as catching up with older threads. If there's a thread I've dropped that you're still into doing, please let me know!

Calliope has most recently had the hilarious misfortune of dealing with a sick Doctor. In general I'm gonna assume there's been a lot of learning about humans, reading books in the library and watching cartoons with her two gay dads. She needs more friends! Which will happen as soon as I get her voice back. >.>

Also the new season of Doctor Who just started, so hopefully Jazzy and I are gonna be super fired up and energized by it and get back into doing things. For now the Doctor and the TARDIS are over at dear_player nagging each other like the grumpy old married couple they are. If you think "hey, here's something one of Laura's characters might be suited for", please don't think I'm too busy/overwhelmed and just ask! I'll be slow but I still wanna doooo stuffff. :<<

Wheatley's just settling in and he's such an incompetent little klutz that it shouldn't be too hard to facilitate him running into the TARDIS. He can get lost in the park. He WOULD get lost in the park.

Tbh when I saw him interacting with the Balladeer and finding out about being human I was glad he didn't meet the TARDIS first because she would not have been able to put up with that much incompetence for long. XD

SORRY HE'S KIND OF INSUFFERABLE this is all so new to him!!! Hopefully by the time he stumbles across the TARDIS he'll have learned to like WALK like a person at least

obviously this has to happen but speaking of getting voices... not back, more like AT ALL......

I gotta figure out so many pieces of Glados' deal and then I definitely want her meeting the TARDIS and being intensely envious of her beautiful infinite place-ness and trying to pretend like she don't even care

I gotta figure out what she's doing in the meantime first and then I think there's nothing to be done but just plunge in and hope that she gets easier! What have I done, etc.

I'd say Rashad and the TARDIS got off on the wrong foot, but let's be honest how much better could it have gone.

Really, though, I need to get back with my existing threads because Asmodia is going to be tickled to realize she's met a multiplanar being.

Ahahaha yeah, they were never gonna be pals. But if you ever need someone to really kick his ass in an overprotective rage, we can probably arrange something.

As long as she can tolerate multiplanar beings being snide about magic, that'll be fun! Maybe Asmodia and Calliope could also teach each other valuable lessons about not being ashamed of your true appearance.

She is honestly really confused that anyone could be snide about magic when it's so blatantly real. Next you people will get snide about gravity. She'd be up for commiserating about appearances, too; back home she was more open about showing her real face but she got a lot of ill treatment for it and is kind of enjoying being a human among humans now.
